The 42mm asymmetric case follows the fourth-generation Speedmaster silhouette worn on all six Moon landings, here cast entirely in Moonshine Gold at 13.18mm thick. A green ceramic bezel ring carries the Ceragold tachymeter scale, the ceramic and gold material combination unique to Omega, and the familiar Dot Over Ninety intact.

The sun-brushed green PVD step dial sits recessed behind the bezel in the Moonwatch's classic arrangement, with Moonshine Gold hands and subdial rings reading clearly against the green surface. Three subdials run the standard tri-compax layout: small seconds, 30-minute recorder, 12-hour recorder. The transparent caseback in polished Moonshine Gold with double bevels carries "FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON" engraved in black, a permanent reminder that this case architecture, however dressed, traces back to July 1969. Calibre 3861 winds by hand at 3Hz, Master Chronometer certified by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring. Power reserve holds to 50 hours. An alligator leather strap with a calf leather underside closes with a Moonshine Gold foldover clasp, the colour running from bezel to strap in a single coordinated line.
