The X-shaped case was the original Epic X's founding idea: the angular lugs interconnect via the movement's vertical bridges, making the watch's inside and outside a single continuous form. In black DLC, the 44mm stainless steel case absorbs rather than reflects. The white aluminium inner ring and crown trace the bezel's inner edge and the bridge rims in a contrasting tone, turning what would otherwise be an all-dark construction into a precise white outline of the X-shaped architecture. The sapphire caseback opens the reverse; water resistance holds to 50 metres.
The Clous de Paris guilloché on the bridges has white-rimmed edges, with the micro-pattern running across the skeleton structure visible through both the dial and caseback surfaces. Two vertical bridges suspend the JCAM45 movement without a mainplate beneath, the barrel sitting at 12 o'clock and the balance wheel directly below it. Skeleton hands cross the open surface, the hours and minutes the movement's only outputs. JCAM45 winds entirely by hand at 28,800 vibrations per hour across 21 jewels and 158 components. The octopus spring handles the time-setting function with a single component serving three roles simultaneously. Power reserve holds to 48 hours. The architecture is identical to the orange variant; the difference here is purely in what the white accent reveals about it. A black rubber strap with Cordura pattern closes with a Black DLC Ardillon buckle, the dark finishing consistent throughout from case to clasp.
This Epic X Stainless Steel Black DLC White Inner Ring, Reference EX120.11.AJ.AB.ABRUA has no visible scratches and is in very good condition.
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos. Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card. A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements. We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
