Richard Orlinski is a French sculptor whose work reduces animal forms to sharp, angular planes, a geometric language immediately recognisable as his own. On this Classic Fusion, that language translates to the case itself: the 41mm titanium surfaces are cut and faceted in a way that sets it apart from every other Classic Fusion reference. Microblasted and polished titanium runs across the case and bezel, alternating matt and mirror surfaces, creating the same light-and-shadow interplay that defines Orlinski's sculptures. Limited to 500 pieces, the edition is confirmed as sold out at retail.
The polished black dial keeps the case's sculptural geometry the visual priority. Two subdials sit in a bi-compax layout, small seconds at nine o'clock and a 30-minute counter at three, with luminescent baton hour markers and a date display completing the dial. A sapphire exhibition caseback exposes the movement; the back is considered the front. HUB1153 powers the watch, Hublot's in-house self-winding chronograph movement with 42 hours of power reserve. Water resistance holds to 50 metres. The movement architecture is entirely Hublot's own, built around the chronograph function as its primary complication.
A black smooth rubber strap sits boldly on the wrist, the material consistent with the broader Classic Fusion identity. At 41mm, the Orlinski edition sits at the smaller end of the Classic Fusion range, the faceted case reading with more presence than the diameter alone suggests.
This Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Titanium 549.NI.1270.RX.ORL23 has no visible scratches and is in very good condition. The strap remains well-maintained.
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos. Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card. A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements. We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
