The lever-locking crown-protecting bridge sits on every Luminor, its presence a direct reference to the construction Panerai developed for Italian Navy divers who needed watertight certainty in the field. On this 44mm brushed steel case, it functions as it always has, locking the crown against accidental opening under pressure and against the physical demands of water and impact. Water resistance holds to 100 metres, the driven brushed steel caseback closing the construction at the back.
The blue sun-brushed dial carries luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers in the direct, high-legibility layout Panerai has applied to its tool watches since the 1950s. Small seconds sits at nine o'clock, its subdial the only element that breaks the clean symmetry of the blue surface. The absence of a date display keeps the dial precisely as functional as the case it sits inside. Calibre P.6000 powers the watch by hand, an in-house movement measuring 15½ lignes and 4.5mm thick. It runs on 19 jewels at 21,600 alternations per hour, with an Incabloc anti-shock device and a stop-seconds function for precise setting. Three days of power reserve come from a single barrel across 110 components, winding fully in a single session at the crown. The rubber strap closes with a trapezoidal brushed steel buckle, with a dark blue calfskin strap with beige stitching included as the secondary option.
This Luminor Logo, Reference PAM01085, has scratches across the bezel, case, caseback, and clasp, yet it remains in good condition. The rubber strap shows soiling and may benefit from replacement or cleaning.
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos. Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card. A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements. We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
