Sedna gold runs through every element of this watch: the 42mm asymmetric case, the pushers, the crown, the subdial rings, the hands and the five-arched-links-per-row bracelet that closes with a Sedna gold foldover clasp. Omega developed Sedna gold in 2012 using copper and palladium for a warmer, redder tone than standard yellow gold and a higher resistance to colour fading over time. At 216 grams and 13.18mm thick, the full gold construction carries considerably more weight on the wrist than the steel variants, a distinction immediately apparent on first wear.
The black step dial sits recessed behind the anodised aluminium bezel ring, the Dot Over Ninety intact on the tachymeter scale above it. Sedna gold hands and subdial rings cross the black surface, the warm gold against deep black creating a sharper contrast than any of the pale or coloured dial options available in the Sedna range. Sapphire crystal covers both the front and the caseback, the manual-winding movement visible through the back. Calibre 3861 winds by hand at 3Hz, Master Chronometer certified by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. A free-sprung balance with silicon hairspring supports that resistance, the bridges finished with straight Geneva waves. Power reserve holds to 50 hours.
The five-arched-links-per-row Sedna gold bracelet is distinctive to this configuration, its construction notably more supple on the wrist than the flat-link steel bracelet alternatives. A comfort setting on the foldover clasp allows adjustment without tools.
This Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.60.42.50.01.001 has light scratches across the case, caseback, bracelet, and clasp, yet it remains in excellent condition.
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos. Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card. A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements. We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
